Nic Nicked
Early this morning – around, say, 4:30AM to be approximate – two drivers noticed Nicole Richie talking on her cellphone while driving in the wrong direction on the 134 in Burbank. Naturally, they used their cells to call 911. When the California Highway Patrol greeted Richie in the carpool lane, she ended her phone conversation and admitted to being on Vicodin and weed. Later, at the, ah, wherever it is the CHP take people to be booked, it was determined that Richie is 5'1" and weighs a whopping 85 pounds. Although she was booked on DUI and it wasn't her first offense, they didn't throw her into a cell like they do other DUI miscreants, so she missed the tasty prefab breakfast they toss at you. We mean that we've heard they toss at you. She was released at 7:15AM. (TMZ)

You didnt take enough. And you were (I'm assuming) in genuine pain. Therefore your brain used it to numb the pain. When not in pain, it'll get you high. Mix w/alcohol or something else and its even better. Withdrawls are like a BAD self-induced flu. Not glamorous at all, you know, puking, shitting, cold sweats, involuntary leg kicking, soooo tired you could die but CANNOT sleep for the life of you, cant eat.
You're right about it not being very strong, in the grand scheme of rx pills. Thats why oxy was my drug of choice. Waayyy better than vicoden. But, in withdrawl, vicoden will do to keep the sickness at bay. All opiates are like that. They're all in the same family as heroin. So for her to be taking it, considering her past experience with heroin, is not a good thing at all.
The 85lbs is what gets me. Fucking walking skeleton! Poor girl.

Fuck that shit. She only spent three hours in booking? On a second offense? All I did was tell a cop to eat a bowl of dick once and I got sent to the nastiest, pukiest cell in the place for like 20 hours.

I'd like to know from some of the experienced readers here - what kind of a buzz are you supposed to get from vicodin? When ever I take it I feel nothing. Do people really get addicted to it? What are the withdrawals like? It doesn't seem very strong to me. If I was going to abuse a substance I'd like something with a little more kick, i think.
