The Real Reveal

Jody Watley is now claiming that the photo she gave to the press in December of last year, showing her bandaged and bloody from plastic surgery, was in fact a hoax to promote her album The Makeover. She says the joke had her family and friends slapping their thighs because they know how anti nip and tuck she is. "I would never touch my face. I want to grow old gracefully like Lena Horne and my mom who's 70 and still looks beautiful." The prank was worth whatever the gauze, stage blood, and bruise makeup set her back; revealing the ruse is giving her a whole new round of publicity – for nothing. We'd be laughing but it hurts when we laugh.
