In a fashion supplement to Vanity Fair, Justin Timberlake mouths off about American Idol and Idol's current idol. He despises the show, he says, but is "completely fascinated" by it. Which is understandable. But he thinks Taylor Hicks "can't carry a tune in a bucket" and says his popularity is anything but solid. “If he has any skeletons whatsoever, if God forbid, he’s gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like ‘Oh my god, I voted for a queer!’ It’s just too much pressure.” Not that there's anything wrong with having an empty tune bucket.
