This may be old, but I just found it thanks to my favorite blog, The Consumerist. (Nothing riles me up more than bad customer service! And a whole blog devoted to it? My wet dream come true!) NBC devoted an entire news segment to how annoying those HeadOn commercials are. There's a war going on in Israel and we're surrounded by terrorists and an inconveniently truthful heat wave – and we're reminding people how annoying some things in life can be. (Watch here)

Did they actually interview "experts" about their thoughts on the commercials and how repetition works in advertising? Did they just showcase comments on YouTube to prove their facts? That's like citing an Internet messageboard on your dissertation. Someone shoot me.
