Remember that cattle call Hedwig's John Cameron Mitchell put out a while back looking for actors willing to perform all kinds of real sex in his next feature film project? Well, he found them and it's finished, it's called Shortbus, and it's screening at Cannes. And it's quite something. The explicit, mostly improvised film includes a character singing the national anthem during gay sex, which is meant to provoke, Mitchell said. It's a small act of defiance against George W Bush.
