Spy vs Spy

We have a spy hovering around Steven Soderbergh's production of The Good German, and he leaked to us recently that there's been an outbreak of hepatitis A on the set, allegedly due to some tainted craft service fare. Now, after reading a report from another spy who's leaking info about Robert DeNiro's early-days-of-the-CIA film The Good Shepherd to Michael Musto's Village Voice column, we're thinking hep's just as likely to audition for that production.

Shooting a Skull and Bones fraternity initiation scene at Bronx Community College, star Matt Damon, wearing only a flesh-colored thong, had to cavort in a giant pit of mud with five other actors who had taken off their thongs, woo hoo. As Damon mud-wrestled with one of the naked extras, an assistant director called out "Cue the pee!" and a stream of yellowish liquid rained down on the actors. Says Musto: "I hear Bronx Community is now officially called Pee U."
