Crash Site
Next week, AOL launches TMZ.com, a gossip site that today has a teaser preview: Paris Hilton, her newbie Stavros Niarchos, and a Laguna Beach star get in a fender-bender this morning as they DUI away from Los Angeles club Element amid enthusiastic paparazzi and lackluster police reprimand. The clip is on (most) blogs today, but we have a particular soft spot for the incident because Element is on nearby Las Palmas and the so-called crash happened right in the WOW parking lot, which this week is cluttered with annoying bumper-to-bumper Winnibagos and trailers and cars belonging to the crew making a feature film called You Are Here (like we need yet another movie with that title). So if little Stavie didn't crash into something there, one of us was bound to.
