They Will Ru the Day
the last few times ive been in nyc, i found myself getting up early to catch rupaul on WNEW. there was nothing better than waking up to rupaul in the morning, even if the music sucked, which of course he had no control over.
this week he left the station, and while i have read reports that he was let go, the real story is very different, and you can get a hint of it on his blog today. i say, good for him. someone smart on the radio scene is gonna realize that rupaul is just what they need and snap him up. and hopefully, they will give him some room to craft his own morning show – with plenty of talk and control of the turntables. so if you're a new yorker and you want some rupaul in the morning, make some noise.
