Party of the First Part, Part 2

Everybody is invited to watch the first episode of Party / Party tonight at 9 on Bravo. The WOW series consists of eight one-hour episodes, each containing two families in the throes of party planning. And like our Moms & Dads shows, this series is often hilarious. Tonight's premiere is about graduations, but future eps will include a $10,000 birthday party for a five-year-old, with a horse-drawn carriage; a wedding of reunited childhood sweethearts; not one but two gay marriages; and the most magnificent bat mitzvah this side of Jerusalem. Plus – always – temperaments gone wild.

Says the series' supervising producer Todd Radnitz: "Just about every show we produce features a breakout character – your Duncan Nutters, your Debbie Tyes. And while we love all our cast members equally (like the parent of any good TV show), the breakout star of this episode is 13-year-old Brandon Casabonne, who just about steals every scene. Whether torturing his sister by taking pictures of her New Year’s eve bender (and making sure we get a copy) or whipping up a batch of body lotion from his “skincare line,” this kid is entertainment. We could watch him all day. And we think someday we will – this kid is destined to be a star."
