In the latest issue of Guitar World magazine, Keith Richards addresses the rumors concerning his playing Johnny Depp's drunkard pirate dad in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. It's common knowledge that Depp based his Jack Sparrow on Richards. "I will tell you that Johnny and I were in LA two weeks ago dressed up as pirates," Richards says, and we can only imagine. "So there's a hint. But at the same time, I don't know about the ins and outs of scheduling and whether it will actually happen. Jesus, I never worked for Disney before. I never expected to. Mickey Mouse?" Of course, there's that Stones tour to consider, but if he does decide to sign on to the other lucrative ship, how does he see himself as a pirate? "How difficult is it for me to play a pirate?" he says. "Just stick a hat on me and a beard. Put on an eye patch and we're away. Arrgh! But it's not necessary to wear all that stuff to be a pirate. Most pirates these days wear suits."
