Melissa is co-directing her first film, called Tammy, and there was a female extra on the set who brought along her four-year-old son. Apparently, for most of the day the extra was getting bothered by her kid, yelling at him, etc (every parent can relate), but the last straw came when she got physical and roughly yanked the kid’s arm up in the air. Melissa happened to see it and had the extra fired immediately, citing “no abuse” on her set. Werk, boss lady! (Pacific Coast News)
