Could behind-the-scenes changes at 'Days of Our Lives' derail the upcoming gay storyline?

So close! So close! Young Will Horton, left, is THISCLOSE to being THE HOTTEST GAY BOY ON TELEVISION EVER, OMG! He's finally about to ditch the lumpy Latina faghag he's been dating (PLEEEASE!)  and hook up with Justin and Adrienne's son, Sonny (soon-to-be-played by Freddie Smith, right – WHO WAS TEDDY'S FORMER BOYFRIEND ON 90210, REMEMBER? Who was TOTALLY CUTE until he went TOTALLY BANANAS, like, OUT. OF. THE. BLUE. Really, what was that all about?) Unfortunately, both the head writer and the openly gay co-head writer have been let go from Days which might spell DOOM for any future fledgling faggotry. And as there have been nothing but the TINIEST hints of Will's impending Facebook status change, and Soap Opera Weekly failed to mention the storyline in the show's summer previews, people are getting nervous that the whole coming out thing has been scuttled. Which would suck. At a time when soaps are struggling to stay on the air, and need all the support they can get, they SHOULD be looking to the most loyal viewers on the planet: HOMOS!
