The Walk-In DeadWednesday, April 13, 2011 02:15 PM
This funeral parlor in Consett, County Durham, England, was none too pleased when the hit zombie series The Walking Dead, airing on the UK's Channel 5, affixed this huge billboard to the side of the building, in full weeping view of clients. A Susan Jones, from a nearby hospice, said, "Emotions can be pretty raw when people are recently bereaved. Words like 'death' and 'dead' can be very difficult." So you'd think then, by the same token, the word "walking" might afford some comfort. But apparently not. Meanwhile, the Clear Channel perpetrators have apologized and the offending material has been relocated. (via Mail)
