Naked Stool

An old friend of William S Burroughs in Lawrence, Kansas, has preserved a turd of Burroughs' in a jar (pictured), and the Burroughs Estate has given the OK to Adam Zaretsky and Tony Allard to use the stool in a bioart project called Mutate or Die, in which a DNA sample from Burroughs' shit log will be isolated, amplified, and shot into the nuclei of some cells, blah, blah, etc, resulting in a "new media paint, a living cut-up literary device and/or a mutant sculpture."
