LET'S HAVE CALAMARI!

Well, calamari is actually squid, not octopus. So...bad joke. Anyway, Paul the Psychic Octopus, who became famous all around the world earlier this year after it was discovered he could correctly predict the outcome of the 2010 World Cup passed away last night at the Oberhausen Sea Life Centre in Germany. Stefan Porwoll, manager of the centre, says, "He appears to have passed away peacefully during the night, of natural causes, and we are consoled by the knowledge that he enjoyed a good life here. We may decide to give Paul his own small burial plot within our grounds and erect a modest permanent shrine." (via Telegraph)
