This stunning 20-year-old model, Florian Van Bael, was immediately dismissed from an Abercrombie & Fitch shoot when he was caught eating a croissant off the craft services table. What? Yeah. You thought being a model was fun. The 30 men and women on this weeklong Bruce Weber shoot at the Panoramic Hotel in Montauk, New York, were under constant surveillance to make sure they adhered to the strict rules of what they could and couldn't eat and drink and how much they should work out. Van Bael's pastry snack was considered "inappropriate." The Daily Mail reports that the models were working 13-hour days and being paid below the standard week rate of $2,000 for women and $1,500 for men. They did have a $13-a-day meal allowance, but those meals were closely monitored. But what was that fatal croissant doing on the craft services table in the first place? Who was monitoring that?
