Michael's McShnozzThursday, August 19, 2010 10:27 AM tags: celebrity body parts, cute boy?, Michael Cera, red carpet culture, Scott Pilgrim, Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Is this a thing? I hope not. I used to have little inner city boys tag my bald head, and sometimes they included my initials or a likeness of me, but it was all very artistic, of course, and made a statement about post-post-modern urban sprawl or something – but THIS looks like a child scribbled on him while he was passed out at a frat party. Why was the child at the frat party? I haven't thought that far ahead. He does look rather adorable here, though, I will give him that. And I saw Scott Pilgrim vs the World and he's not cute in it, boy, WHOOO. He is NOT aging well. The movie is genius, of course. A real breakthrough. But it's Kieran Culkin and Ellen Wong who steal the movie (KNIVES!). Michael is just weirdly Progerian-looking and more Ichabod Crane than romantic lead. But I guess that's always the point of a Michael Cera movie. Unexpected hero, unexpected hotness. Anyway. That's some red shirt, huh? A real Venetian red. Right out of a (defaced) Renaissance painting. Love it! (via HuffPo)
