I Like Your FlashlightTuesday, June 08, 2010 09:17 AM
Have you ever been in trouble and wondered to yourself, "Where the hell is Superman when you need him?" Superman may not come to your aid, but there are a multitude of supposed "crime fighters" out there, waiting to answer your call- or friend request. The World Superhero Registry collects these community activists' profiles into one place, for your amusement/needs. These community activists in silly costumes, with silly names (because it would just be so totally boring if they were normal-dressed activists with out a personality disorder), have also stated what it is they actually do in the registry. For example, Zetaman (Z on chest in photo) is trained in first aid and CPR, and an excerpt from Red Arrow of Hong Kong describes: "I am Red Arrow, a real-life superhero in Hong Kong. I try to bring happiness to people and become the salt and light of the world." So I think I'll stick to 911 for all of my emergency needs for now, although Zetaman's flashlight does look pretty menacing.
