This man from your dreams gets a movie deal

Remember this man? The one who inexplicably appears to people in their dreams? The one referred to only as "This Man" by the those who see him? Does he frighten you as much as he frightens me? Does seeing him bring back some primal memory? Is he God? Is he Satan? Is he a "dream surfer"? Or merely Jungian archetype? Director Sam Raimi is about to let us know. He just made a deal with Ghost House pictures to write and direct This Man, calling the film "a hair-raising tale that will sure to delight horror fans." The protagonist is an ordinary man who discovers that people he has never met have somehow seen him in their nightmares. Ghost House has acquired rights to the website ThisMan.org that was created by Italian sociologist Andrea Natella to connect those who saw the actual man in their dreams. And because just writing this post gives me the shivers, I think I'm going to pass on the movie. But please, if you know who and what he is, let me know. Until then, I'm never sleeping again.
