My new friend Ken doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Or rather: He STARTS in a place that's reasonably sane, but then veers off onto long tangents that seem sort of connected, and sort of make sense, but are really just verbal knots of words and clumps of like-sounding phrases that he strings together. Sort of like his necklace. Which is fabulous. And took a lot of thought and effort, but ultimately just looks bonkers, right? Is it crazy though? I like that he uses a mixed media approach of combining wires and rope and strips of cloth, then includes baggies and socks filled with found objects to anchor it and pull it all together. It's a work of architectural wonder that does what all art aims to do: give us a glimpse into the interior world of the artist, and impart to the viewer the artist's perspective. (Photo by Thairin)

We believe in Fauxvism – the end of authenticity as we knew it. or thought we did.
