disco shoulder pads, venus fly-suits, and Elizabethan steampunkFriday, April 23, 2010 04:55 PM
Self-taught London designer Rachel Freire finds her inspiration in "Joan of Arc, Victorian medical diagrams, asylums, and medieval European countesses" among other things, I'm sure. There is a definite unity and cohesion to the collection when viewed as a whole, even though each outfit is incredibly unique. I'm absolutely gaga for her work, and would just DIE to own any of it.
