Wow. That's a little harsh. I'm sorry. I can't really say that. I mean: nobody is ever REALLY ugly. I suppose if you look hard enough you can find something attractive in everyone. But I'm not going to look for it in this kid. I'm mad. Sure the old Michael (Drew Garret) was sort of squashed-looking and acted like a little BITCH, and most days you wanted to smack him upside his brain-damaged head, but he was the Michael that we were invested in. Now, after painfully building towards a climax in the Claudia Corinthos murder case, and JUST as Michael is set to take the witness stand and (hopefully) confess to her killing, NOW is when they recast him? REALLY? I don't know why the old Michael was fired (METH-FUELED GAY SEX IN THE BREAK ROOM? I'm only speculating) but it sure is terrible timing. Suddenly I have no connection to the character, zero interest in his confession, and I feel like the whole storyline has no payoff anymore. And on top of it all, NOW I HAVE TO STARE AT THIS KID'S UGLY MUG EVERY DAY NOW. Yes, there it is. It's an ugly face. There's no sugar-coating it. Soap opera people aren't supposed to look real! Is it too late to RE-recast the role?
