omg, is steve carell suddenly cute?

I don't get it. I haven't seen Date Night yet, so I can't be completely sure, but there are one or two scenes during the trailer where I totally do a spit-take and think "HOLY CRAP! I'M ATTRACTED TO STEVE CARELL!" How is that even possible? Has he changed? Gotten any surgery? A new haircut? Is it just really good lighting or a fabulous camera man? Am I the only one who has noticed this? Mind you, I don't WANT to like him, but I feel myself getting pulled into it. I have a vague suspicion that the marketing department is slipping subliminal messages into the movie trailer. Sort of like the super-subtle marketing campaign for Kick Ass ("EVERYBODY LOVES KICK ASS! YOU WILL LOVE KICK ASS! KICK ASS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE! GO SEE KICK ASS! THEN SEE IT AGAIN!"). Anyway. Please comment on whether you think Steve Carell is having a moment of hotness or I've lost my mind.
