Croquem...wha????

Do you understand the pressure that comes from working on a show in which the talent was previously a vice president at Martha Stewart Living? Everything has to be perfect ALL THE TIME. It’s exhausting. So please, do not for my sake allow Dr Brent Ridge of the The Fabulous Beekman Boys to see the croquembouche I made over the weekend. Sure it’s delicious, and yes, I purposely designed it to be short and squatty so that it could survive my jerky commute down the 101 freeway en route to the office, but let’s just say it would never grace the cover of Martha’s magazine. One taste though, and you’ll agree, it’s a good thing.
