Gossip Girl Report 3.3Tuesday, September 29, 2009 12:22 PM
From Manhattan, the land of Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen, Lydia Rendon reports on last night's Gossip Girl. This was no boating accident. So Scott confessed to Vanessa that he is Rufus and Lily's son. The boating accident his parents told Rufus and Lily about was really about his brother Andrew. However, even after some encouraging words from Vanessa, Scott chose to keep his secret from Rufus and go back to Boston. Let's hope his departure doesn't make Vanessa's hair revert back to dreadlocks. But what fun would it be if only Vanessa knew the secret? Enter Georgina. Who better to research and reveal deep family secrets you don't want let out. Overhearing their converstaion, she too is now headed to Boston to dig up all the info she can on Scott but, it seems, only so she can win back Dan. Yes Dan. Seems their no-strings-attached relationship is a little less than what Georgina actually wants. I can only hope her craziness will soon mirror that of Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction... "I won't be ignored, Dan!" Blair and Chuck. He's still on the secret club kick, taking meetings with every club owner, one suit-and-suspenders at a time. She is still having her life made miserable by Georgina. Conflict between B & C this week: a bidding war at the Sotheby's auction. All's well that ends well, though; Blair puts Chuck's ambitions before hers and gives him the photo, while Chuck decides to think big and buy the hotel the club he wanted is in. Serena and Carter. Hmmm. Not really sure what I think about this. Has Carter changed? Probably not, but that works for me. Serena, always one to slut things up, showed up to the Sotheby's auction in a dress very Drew Barrymore in Poison Ivy. Did anyone else notice that? Nate and Bree.... still boring. Here's hoping Bree's episode-closing remarks to Carter will make things more interesting for them.
