On May 27, 1986, we ran into the tireless New York nightlife video archivist Nelson Sullivan in a back hallway of the notorious Limelight and offered to turn his camera on him for a change. What followed was a vigorously inane conversation (our half, anyway) that makes Andy Warhol's banter seem eloquent. But what is interesting is our mention of the Pop Tarts and RuPaul. Who knew that what now seems like 100 years later we'd be working for the former and next to the latter?
