Conventional wisdom has it that there's never a cop around when you need one, and movie convention has it that you can never get a cellphone signal when there's an axe-murderer outside the cabin. This compilation by Vh1's Rich Juzwiak of protagonists in peril cursing technology is culled from 66 films and supports that trope. (via fourfour)
