From back in dear old New Zealand... This chappie with the ace name of Lawrence Arabia won the APRA Silver Scroll Award (it's about as prestigious as NZ music awards get) last week for his song "Apple Pie Bed." It's a nice song on second listen and very very kiwi. What I really like though is the video, a bubble filled slow-motion, G-rated, suburban swingers party. Slightly unfit bodies flapping about in cheap briefs, the occasional shadowy side-bollock, and the orgy-eating of cocktail sausages and quiche. It makes me want to shag my old science teacher in her quiet cul-de-sac bungalow. Oh Ms. Ogier, we never had a chance...
