In an effort to revamp its image (whatever that is) Holiday Inn opened – for four days only – a gimmicky, one-of-a-kind hotel at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. It was said to be constructed entirely of 200,000 Holiday Inn room key cards – including the carpets, linen, towels, and toilet seats. So you wouldn't have wanted to misplace your key anywhere in the room. The 400-square-foot hotel weighed two tons and took world-champion card-stacker (?) Bryan Berg four months to complete. "This is my largest card-stacking challenge to date," said the champ. We bet. Sounds a little too nightmarish for us; we're gonna stick with things made out of Lego.
