Hoff Goes Off

Having wrapped another season of America's Got Talent, judge David Hasselhoff was able to get back to his hobby of serious drinking. On Sunday, his daughter, 17-year-old Hayley, called 911 and said her dad had been drinking vodka for over a day and appeared to be in physical danger. An ambulance arrived to take him to the hospital, where it was determined he had alcohol poisoning, a condition he's been hospitalized for more than five times over the last few years. "It's sad," a source told Radar. "He needs help and he's in denial."  For example, Hasselhoff's people told TMZ that the Hoff is being treated for an ear infection and is taking Antivert for that along with Antabuse to prevent the drinking and the combination of the two "messed up his equilibrium." He wasn't drunk and, in fact, hadn't even been drinking; he was just feeling sick and dizzy.
