Daisy, the five-year-old Malti-poo owned by celebrity Jessica Simpson, is presumed dead after being caught this week by a coyote outside Simpson's Calabasas, California, house. Simpson, who had put up posters, tweeted for searchers, hired a professional dog-finding service, and hoped against hope, today finally realized her pet was not coming home and stopped the search. She joins a growing list of California celebs who've lost pets to coyotes. Martha Stewart, whose chow pup was killed in a freak explosion this year, advised Simpson to get another dog to ease her grief.
