Take a break and watch all eight-plus minutes of this darkly fascinating bit of film shot in 1980 at the Chelsea Hotel in New York. The footage, part of a program on BBC 4 in the UK, includes a positively verbose Andy Warhol, a beautifully dressed William S Burroughs, and a dark-haired Nico singing "Chelsea Girls" in her Chelsea Hotel room. You might also recognize Factory girl Brigid Berlin and British journalist Victor Bockris, two not-dead members of that scene.
