John Reiner is an Emmy-winning writer-producer who's the supervising story producer for World of Wonder's upcoming VH1 docusoap on American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino. Yesterday, Reiner wrote a piece for The Wrap about the effect the 72-year-old daytime drama Guiding Light has had on the world of broadcasting.
