OMG, It's Back! Gossip Girl's Season 3 Premiere

Gossip Girl's biggest fan, fabulous wowlebrity Lydia Rendon, who's just moved from the offices of World of Wonder smack into the Manhattan world of Blair and Serena, gives us a rundown of last night's premiere of the CW teen soap, in case we missed it. As if.

"Humphrey's in the Hamptons. That was a bit odd. However, as always, it seemed that Eric had the best one-liners to lighten the situation. Jenny's hair has gotten better from last season, which is a vast improvement. Another season of her awful hair and wardrobe was something I would not have been able to take. Speaking of which, what's up with Vanessa's hair? It's borderline dreadlocks! Blah. It looks like cheap hair extensions gone wrong; did either of you notice that? I also felt slightly creeped out that she is dating Rufus and Lily's son, the Twilight Jacob wannabe with the bad orange tan. (James, doesn't he totally have a Taylor Lautner look going for him!!)

"On to my two favorite people, Chuck and Blair. Always the best dressed, best lines, and best story plots. Her best outfit: dress and super-cute hat at the polo match. His best outfit: navy blue suit with the red rose. I hope they stay together for the bulk of the season. They play so well off each other, it would be wrong to split them up, but maybe that's me just being selfish. BTW, I loved the final scene of Blair ordering Chuck around as a waiter. Hot!

"Nate and his family drama. Haven't we seen this story line before, in season two... and season one? Now Serena. Oh Serena (Stephen, your favorite person). She's so needy and, really, when she left with Carter at the end of last season did anyone think that they wouldn't hook up again? Hello, it's Serena! To quote Georgina: "It's Serena, she'll go down for anything." If that was too harsh on her, sorry, but paying the paparazzi to take your pictures so your dad will talk to you... I expected more from her. This will make an interesting triangle for Rufus and Lily when he finally does come around, which we all know will happen mid season! :) My last note: How is it possible that both Ed and Chace have gotten hotter?! Always a good thing.
