Broadway dancer and Hollywood heartthrob Patrick Swayze died today of pancreatic cancer at home in Los Angeles. He was 57. The actor who starred in such films as Dirty Dancing, Ghost, and To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar continued work after finding out in January last year that he had the disease, and starred in the A&E series The Beast until very recently.
