Legal eagles are really fashion peacocks

I just love Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Such a lady! And always so put-together! If you've never seen her off-duty, "madcap granny" looks, check out this slide show HERE. She's just a delight. Anyway, last night, on the eve of Sonya Sotomayor's swearing in, both she and Sandra day O'Connor took to the nightly news programs to discuss, um, women's robe designs. Because that's all women can talk about: fashion. I mean COME ON, you guys! But as frivolous as the topic must have seemed for these two powerhouses, they both came across as just fascinating. Did you know that there are no women's robes, only severely altered men's robes? And that Ruth's doily-like collar is from South Africa? That Sandra Day O'Conner started wearing ruffled shirts because someone told her she looked "washed out" next to the other other justices?
