Ukraine actually has got talent...

I just got forwarded this clip from an episode of Ukraine's Got Talent. I started very skeptically, expecting the usual "drunks dance to a disco song" routine, but I was wrong and this is something you should absolutely see.

It's a rather stunning 24-year-old girl named Kseniya Simonova. She performs something I've never even heard of called Sand Animation. Over eight minutes and, using only her hands and sand, she weaves a heartbreaking tale of love during war. I can't explain it properly, just watch it. It's brilliant.

She started making these animations only last year and just recently won the grand final of this popular show.
