Ivory Snow girl turned glamour porn star Marilyn Chambers died last night in her mobile home in Vasquez Canyon. She was 56. Her daughter McKenna, 17, found her unresponsive around 8:30PM. Cause of death is under investigation but foul play is not suspected. Chambers became a pop-culture phenom in 1972 when she starred in the glossy X-rated film Behind the Green Door and was discovered to be the same girl pictured on a box of laundry detergent. Sales of Ivory Snow saw a definite spike. In 2005, Chambers was a talking head talkin' head in World of Wonder's Inside Deep Throat documentary on the making of Deep Throat, the controversial porn flick, also released in 1972.
